RESPITE CARE SUITE
Caregivers in the community sometimes need a break, a vacation, or simply an opportunity to see if long-term care is a good fit for their loved one. Respite services can provide continuity of care, supervision, meal service, engaging activities, and personal care when a primary caregiver is not available. For them, a temporary stay in our respite suite provides a safe and wonderful solution.
Respite care can also be offered as an opportunity to “test the waters” or experience living in this environment before finalizing the sale of a home or making a permanent move. A respite visit can offers them the opportunity to experience life at The Villa and determine on their own if this is the best option for them.
TRIAL STAYS
Moving to an assisted living setting is a significant lifestyle change. Some residents want to have first hand experience before they change households. The respite suite offers them the opportunity to live at the Villa to see if this is a good fit for them.
GUEST STAYS
If the respite suite is available, families and friends who have traveled to see our residents can rent the suite daily for themselves.
DINING
The Villa’s culinary team diligently crafts a dining experience that preserves dignity and enables choice. We are committed to quality and resident satisfaction – while offering restaurant-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Residents enjoy their meals in our beautiful dining room and receive personalized service from our staff.

ACTIVITIES
The Villa offers a full monthly calendar of social and recreational activities that are offered every day to their residents. Daily activities include baking clubs, walking trails, morning trivia, card games, and group exercise. Our meticulously curated activities program is designed to ignite joy, foster connection, and enhance well-being for our beloved residents.
Medical
The Villa nursing team can assist residents with medication management, personal care assistance, medical transportation, memory guidance, or any other needs.
Spiritual
As a healthcare ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence, the Villa Chapel hosts a weekly Mass.
Salon
The Villa hair salon offers an expansive list of hair and nail services. The salon is open three days/week and will accommodate all resident schedules.
Housekeeping
The Villa housekeeping staff provides a weekly cleaning service and can offer laundry assistance upon request.

What are your hours of operation?
Ideal visiting hours are between 8am-7pm.
Are staff on site 24/7?
Licensed medical professionals are on site 24 hours day
What type of security do you have in place?
All visitors are required to sign-in upon arrival at the main receptionist desk [8am-5pm]. Off hours visitors must ring the doorbell located outside the main entrance and be escorted by staff into the building. All residents are issued a special electronic key-fob for unlimited access into the building and without time restraints.
Do you have to be Catholic to live here?
Although Saint Antoine Community is a healthcare ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence, all faiths are welcomed and celebrated.
