Easy Street Rehab Expectations
Within 48 hours of your arrival, a member of our therapy team will evaluate you. They will want to get to know all about you and test your abilities. The evaluation is all about you and how our team can best help you achieve your long-term goals.
Your personalized therapy plan will focus on increasing your overall strength, endurance, activities of daily living, and anything else you may need in order to achieve your goals for a safe discharge.
By the end of the first week, our multidisciplinary team [nursing, therapy, and social worker] will meet with you to discuss your progress and if there is a need to modify your personalized care plan.
Your length of stay at “Easy Street Rehab” will depend on several factors:
- The type of surgery and/or illness you are seeking treatment for
- Wound or infection healing time
- Motivation
- Overall physical and/or cognitive strength
- Adequate support at home or in the community to which you are returning
Our team will be there every step of the way to support you and motivate you – on your road to independence.
